Why does society find the sight of men's nipples in public acceptable but a woman's must be covered up? Is this not sexist?

Interesting point. Surely its because womens breasts (and therefore nipples) have become objects of sexuality and lust. This means that they are now associated with "dirty mags" and pornography generally. They are no longer simply the same as a pretty face or Titian curls. Men have smirked or leered at the naked female form for centuries, but the internet has worsened the whole porno thing beyond belief. Male nipples do have the same connotations, and so do not offend in the same way. Of course they are male nipples/breasts which should remain covered too!!

Southernbelle is quite right it is the open access to the internet that has worsened the situation.
I have had a look at Cassie's photo and it is a lovely photo done very professionally but unfortunately others don't look at the actual photo only the content they want to find offensive , same as reading a joke meant in jest but read into more in depth ?

Yet the naked female form in painting and sculpture is considered 'high art'. Look at the queues at the British Museum to see ancient Greek and Roman statuary.

Anyway, I get the impression on this forum that the decision was taken on whether this was an appropriate place to host the image.
Look at the old RO forum. You weren't allowed to write Xmas or Arsenal.
One man's porn is another man's mild TITilation. Showing half a semi-erect nipple in a photo to me is inoffensive but others disagree.

What really offends me is bad spelling, grammar, punctuation and people who can't express themselves without the use of bloody smileys.
