The battle of Wounded Knee

Post  Hinch on Thu May 02, 2013 10:24 am

Well, after nearly ten years of trying, I am finally to be listed for my first total knee replacement later on in the year. Had some more x-rays taken yesterday. No joint space whatsoever. It's like walking with ground glass where my joints should be. Pain varies between moderate to severe 24/7... even in bed.

I had to sign some forms to apply for funding. Only a matter of time before they get you to sign up for a loan like kids going to college do.

Will try to get them to do it after I come back from La Belle France in September.

10 years seems to be one heck of a long time to get your knee done Hinch for it to get to this stage.

I must admit Hinch I was puzzled why you were not jumping up and down on your seat with your bottle of Grouse and singing and clapping at the show last Tuesday. Wink

Though I wish you all the best when your operation happens and you get the relief from the pain in the long term.

If hospitals weren't so busy saving people who have been ripped apart by dangerous dogs,

The waiting lists for other things might not be so long? Smile
