What the papers say...
Just looking at tomorrow's Ob. Why on earth does it consider an empty magistrates court to be front page news with what is going on with senior council officer's pay? Surely this should be the lead story? Half the town are talking about it. Plus, their figures are hopelessly wrong attributing them to Rochdale when the figures refer to 44 other courts that have closed.
Are they too scared to take the council on?
And where is superman and his not so 'Daily Rochdale'? Not a peep about it from them either. Weird! Yet more evidence of Rochdale's infamous 'blind eye to the telescope ' syndrome.

Very disappointing more so when we see the latest on RO regarding "Consultants paid tens of thousands by council to produce executive pay report" ! absolute shame on you Cllr Colin Lambert when so many have lost jobs and been forced into retirement and our most vulnerable are suffering and struggling , disgraceful

Maybe the Ob didnt run the story as they are now owned by Trinty newspaper who are far from shy from nailing their colours to the wall. and oh what a surprise - Red is the colour of the ruling party in our Council.
