Gimmie that old time religion
Lovely item on news tonight. A TV evangelist from Kentucky, famous for handling poisonous snakes as part of his 'act' got bitten live on TV.
So strong was his faith that the Lord would protect him that he refused treatment with predictable and terminal consequences.
I'm afraid I found it difficult to suppress a giggle.

You shouldn't laugh at that really, Hinch, but better you are cheerful.
Interesting that snake handling in religion seems to be an american thing. Here we see the Hopi Indians who were dancing with snakes long before the white man arrived.

If as you say the Hopi Indians were dancing with snakes long before the white man arrived - WHO took the picture?

Don't know who took that photo, but the Hopi indians have apparently been living in Arizona for many centuries, have been doing their elaborate ceremonies way back into history, and carry on today. 'Quite interesting' really.

Native Americans are not paranormal. To find examples of people doing paranormal things like seeing flying saucers, being abducted by aliens or whatever, we don't need to go very far really. Although, according to reports, Rochdale does seem to have been pretty much avoided by flying saucers, strange that.

There's faith and belief - and then there's deluded lunacy. Not a lot to choose between the two really. Small line.
