I knew a hell of a lot of sad-sacks when I lived there. One reason for leaving. Amongst many others.

Could I be a sad-sack?....yer know, one of those people that are trying to clean up my area and live like those folks do up there in the most prosperous neck of the woods, whilst still paying all my bills (including rates) on the dot from my OAP?

Basically people who are ALWAYS negative. Who never look on the bright side of things and who blame everyone else (instead of themselves) when things go constantly wrong around them.
They don't know who they are because they are too busy being NEGATIVE.
It's a state of mind. Not to be confused with depression which is something else entirely.
