Hull. The biggest wind farm manufacturing unit in the world. £300 million investment. A 1000 potential jobs. And the biggest lump of our money (like it or not) after the HS2 - instead of what is really needed. I despair. High time to ask/demand to know just 'WHO' is getting the hand-outs on this one. Who are the big shareholders here? How many of our innocent likeable public servants have 'interests'? -  Rolling Eyes  Rolling Eyes  Rolling Eyes

Contribution towards energy needs - balance - 1%. Billions in world wide profits. To whom? And that's not using the argument regarding a million lollie sticks littering the planet. But do we care -.

Well I care but I’m more worried about the fact that the Big Daddy Burger is not available to Rochdales gourmets!

I'm not, OR! Entirely a business decision, I'd guess. If they think that they will sell more to muslims as a result, and this will make them more money than the loss from non muslims not going, then they will be happy. McDonalds is nearby anyway.
