Just heard that the old guitar shop on Drake Street is up for let and an application has been put in to turn it into.....you've guessed it.....a takeaway.

Does anyone cook their own food at home any more?

Thanks for the reminder Poppy I’ll get the sprouts on for Christmas July is nearly out! Seriously though I agree with your sentiments, at least here in Castleton our local councillor managed to stop the ironing shop becoming yet another fast food outlet. As an aside anyone else had a bumper crop of courgettes? Matron is running out of ideas for cooking them, some are as big as Marrows.
