Some of you more sad people (those who like trains) will have read lots of rubbish recently regarding my little railway. Sadly , for the most part, they are not true but a one sided version of the actual facts. I am still OPEN and working dilligently towards a brighter future. Trains will be back on line in the Spring of next year. How 'sad' is that?? Very Happy

Keep on running, Atlas. Disregarding the sadness issue, the time and energy involved in the exchange of unreliable information is considerable.

On this theme, it has been a particularly challenging time of high drama in the executive department of RMBC, all concentrating furiously over their laptops. The re-tweetion of the un-favoriting of the re-re-tweeting of a favoriting ticked the wrong boxes resulting in the un-favoring of the favoriting of an origional tweet. Tweets calling for the dis-tweeting of the re-tweet resulted in the re-tweet being un-tweeted to an extent but not deleted, only un-favorited, which we like if we tick the like box, favoritise in the favor box or dis-the-tweet if we dislike the tweet. Executives are now #mentally exhausted, struggling with particularly difficult ongoing re-un-tweetion issues of re-tweeted, re-un-deleted, dis-re-tweeted and un-re-favorited tweets which could threaten to re-undermine the up-scaling of twitter-status within the relevant sections of the twitter-sphere.

Which, going forward, could be a problem.

I think I would 'favour' those whom we pay to attend to our public services and betterment of the town would please spend less time on frivolous computing and more of their 'apparent time' looking after 'that which they get paid for'. Exclamation

"Communications regulator Ofcom said UK adults spend an average of eight hours and 41 minutes a day on media devices. Younger people have an advanced understanding of technology devices, with six-year-olds having the same level of knowledge as the average 45-year-old."

How very old fashioned of you Atlas, still an idea worth a thought, even if it is un-re-tweeted.
