Yes. You cannot keep a baying dog with old tricks down. They just don't know when the 'cause' is lost. There is always the 'off' button which I used when I discovered she would be on Question Time. Just one shot of her hound dog expression glaring out from behind her 'Hubble' spectacles was enough for me. I went over to PBS and the American Civil War. I would rather have watched paint dry.Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

The really sad part regarding this latest attempt to resurrect the dead is that they really believe they can??? The question relating to the Oldham/Royton By-Election as to whether or not it was down to the Corbyn factor is laughable. A dead donkey could have been leader of the Labour party (opps - was that Freudian) and the Labour Party would have still won the vote. Discounting that the candidate was a very popular figure in the area to begin with and that with a high Asian vote Labour stood a better than fighting chance it would have been something of a miracle had they NOT won the day. Even discounting packed postal voting (which we know happens all the time amongst our Asian brethren) Labour would still have been victorious. It's the North West. It's Cotton Town. It's Immigrant nation. It's culturally and historically Left wing politics. A victory for anything else is always an anomaly. Give me strength --- AAAAAaaaaargggghhhhh. The expressions of amazed and horrified indignation on some faces when it was suggested that all may not be well with the postal voting setup were due either to genuine ignorance, or, faked ignorance.

Either these people know nothing, or, they sit in front of their mirrors practicing expressions of amazed and horrified indignation.

Postal voting should be what it was originally intended to be i.e. for the over 65s, disabled and over-seas. Other than that should have to attend the voting stations and vote singularly as was always the case. Better a lower percentage vote than a crooked one. These Asian voters have a different idea of democracy than do we. It doesn't matter how you win as long as you win. And if you can't cheat and win then you chop off the heads of the opposition. It's time to stop pandering to the 'Asian' question and get back to basics. OUR way or not at all. Like it or lump it or go away somewhere else. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

A very unusual interview with Dianne Abbot on the lunchtime news today, in which, for the first time ever to my knowledge, she behaved and presented herself on TV as a reasonably normal person.

It was as if she had had all the blather, stupid expressions and behaviour removed from her by a specialist suction pump.

Perhaps it's because she was speaking about something she believes to be true, racism against black people, instead of her normal trying to convince us all of utter twaddle.

It's a changing world.

Or perhaps it's because she sees for herself a chance of real power with her new found friends of the 'left' and little grey Jeremy. She should stick to that which she does best - a mouthpiece for the West Indian communities - bringing to light the consequences of a non-intervention policy for racial integration across the last few decades. Or at best - a lip service of intervention. The same policy which has existed with all other racial groups shouldered out of our present day society. Talk about 'cowards' - tch. My parents would turn in their graves.Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Probably so. Yes, a changing world, 2016 is a big number. The future has arrived, and it looks a bit lumpy. Best of luck everyone. Smile

Many will need a hell of a lot more than luck. Nothing changes if the effort to change isn't made. There's only one basic criteria. If it isn't broken don't try to repair it. If it is broken - find out first 'why'? Only then try to repair it. If it won't repair - find another planet 'cause there's no future on this one. Mr. Corbyns' plan to disarm trident submarines, paint them yellow and base them in Liverpool could prove popular both there and in Scotland.

That might be amusing to the Scots - but I doubt it. Trident and Oil play a major part in the Scottish economy the loss of one and the massive reduction of the other would pose them a problem I wouldn't want to try and overcome. The Scots might be a pain sometimes but I don't think they are that stupid. Independence is fine providing you yourself are not going to have to personally pay for it in a big way.Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Smile
