Went to Halifax market today.

I went to Halifax early today. Called in at the Market and some of the shops. Now Halifax is about the same as Rochdale in size and the number of shops that are there. Not any richer than Rochdale.

What made me think is how they still have a lot of shops that are full and a lot more market stalls that are still in business.

So what is the real problems with Rochdale than say compared to Halifax?

Havnt been to Halifax in ages. I passe though it the other week on the train on my way to York - another great Town with a great mix of quailty shops.

If i recall Halifax has a lot of independent shops especially in the old Market buidling.
