Re: Christmas TV
Last night it was Stanley Baxter's turn for his annual airing with cutaways to modern day 'celebs' explaining his influence on their careers.
A tried, tested but oh so boringly-familiar format.
It will get worse. In 20 years, the 'big stars' of yesteryear will consist of aged X- Factor wannabees and former Big Brother contestants.
Programmes with names like The Golden Years of Big Brother look set to become standard Xmas TV viewing fayre.
Oh joy!

I'm pretty sure I would
We'll have to meet up in 'The Jockey' for a couple of cans one night Nicki!

Well, 10 days without an internet connection and i'm back in the land of the living!! Sorry I can't take you up on your offer of a free beer TP, I don't really drink in the pubs and bars (can't afford to on the OAP allowance) but....I am partial to the odd Bailey's at home in front of the telly the odd couple o' weeks or so
But, this is not an invite!!!

That's my kind of pub, if only for the people-watching.
