I was not keen either,of course it may have had something to do with the fact that I didn't get many. If Admin or whoever runs this site decide to allocate some sort of rating I hope it will not be based on how many posts you made. That never made any sense to me. I hope they do not use a rating system.

I could design one based on the use correct grammar, puntuation and syntax? Perhaps use inkwell icons?

Anyone posting between 10pm and 2am could get double bonus points for submitting contributions without spelling errors. (Controversial!)

Have to say I'm into quality rather than quantity but I appear to be in a minority here. I think that they are sometimes used to submit large numbers of garbage-strewn posts in order to gain an extra star.

Also, they favour those with plenty of time on their hands.

I'm not even sure if I have an option to set it up.

Cannot fault your analysis. If you poll I suspect you will get a yes for a star rating for the reasons you mention. Frequency being the guiding light.

Looks like you may be wrong Past It, I know only a few have voted as yet but nobody has voted for the stars

It's looking that way isn't it, presumably the not bothered vote means no stars. I keep forgetting there is only a fraction of the number of people on this forum that there was on ROL. Np wonder some posts have had few responses.
