Attack on gay couple

This was a disgusting hateful verbal assault on a gay couple. In my opinion should have received jail time, like the racist woman in London for a similar offence. Bigotry of the worse kind.


In another story, why did David Cameron make a link between gays and child molesters/rapists. Very few gays have ever been guilty of committing such crimes. Most sex crimes are committed by straight men.

I agree absolute disgusting as was Philip Schofield's stunt on This Morning TV programme which has just been on the news when he handed the Prime Minister a list of names.!

A cheap and cheesy stunt. Pure and simple.

I would think giving names before a full investigation would break some sort of rule or law. Though can someone explain that one if possible if any law is broken?

No but once you start writing names down on pieces of paper and giving them to third and forth parties you are skating on thin ice. The names of some of these are all over the internet. People really don't understand the risks they are tasking by circulating them.

Thanks for that but I just thought they would be hampering an investigation and find it difficult to be taken to court if any arrest or charges are brought. But also like you said they do take a high risk if untrue on most or all of the names.

Just a cheap & nasty publicity stunt that really shouldn't have been allowed on national TV and has not done anyone any favours except credit were it is due Cameron handled it very well.

I didn't see it either Charly just saw it on Granada news tonight seems Philip Schofield "googled" some names the night before and handed them over to Cameron but they are worried if the camera caught sight of some of the names and showed them public ?

Yes Schofield was wrong, especially if it makes it harder for people to be prosecuted.

It was disgusting and the man should have been at least given a very big fine or jailed or both. Thought it was treated a bit to lenient.

As for the Primeminister there are that many accusations now I just do not know what to say. Looks like cover ups and a lot of people may have got away with it for years if true but a lot may be dead now from the earlier days. Now two former Mates of Jimmy Saville have been arrested now. Just where does it all start and when is it going to end. The investigation could go on for years at this rate.

It is shocking and sickening just how big this lot may be and who may be involved. Who is innocent and who is guilty? So confusing and most horrible for the poor victims.

Where do the links begin I do not know but all seperate issues I should immagine and I think I know what you arer saying. But you could put it a lot better I think.

Totally agree, I have little time for Cameron but Schofield did what idiots do when they feel themselves self important and wanting a reaction. Cameron handled it better than I would have I’m afraid, Mr Schofield could well have been visiting a dentist.
