What a good idea!

But not a new one charly. My old lady used the same methods back after the war when we lived on Hope Street. Used old eiderdowns which she sewed across to keep the filling in place - then the old man tacked them to the top of the sash casement. Worked a treat seeing as we had no heating upstairs at all unless one lit the fire in the bedroom - but one had to afford coal to do that. Huh - coal!! Well i'll go t' bottom of ower stairs so a will.
