Sods law...again!
Had a look at a kitchen place last week while my car was in for its MOT, just browsing wondering how much a new one would cost, seeing how much they are made me decide to wait a bit longer and then today...
I walk into the kitchen into a flood, somehow the pipes for the washer AND dishwasher have worked their way out of the waste pipe leaving the sink unit absolutely drenched and water all over the floor.
Clearing out the sink unit drying everything off I see it has been happening over time un-noticed and the bottom of the sink unit is rotted.
Looks like the wait for a new one is over
Oh well, I'll never be rich!

Oh, what a nightmare Charly! I have been the same about replacing my lounge carpet and suite. Carpet not really a problem but leather suites are so expensive and my problem is, that there is only one chair that has 'gone' and the rest of the suite is in good condition.....and I like the style and size of it as it is just a 2 seater and 2 chairs and fits nicely in my lounge. Keep turning over in my mind whether it would be better to get the one rogue chair re-upholstered instead. Good luck with your search
