I too was down there on a couple or three journalistic assignments. Saw them all scurrying about.

I had a lunch break in The Baum and a gorgeous beef and horseradish sandwich and a bowl of pea and ham soup.

Almost like a spring day, fantastic weather.

Only trouble now is, I tend to get recognised a lot since I started working for RO. People either hide when see me with hat and notebook or they engage me in conversation with 'red hot tips' or tales of skullduggery that I couldn't print even if I wanted to.

There is so much about our Town Centre that is so lovely. I do hope that the plans to improve it come to fruition though I hear persistant whispers about more cuts in the offing.
