I wonder who is going to be 62 in the next few days lol!
Now that is why I deleted my birthday I would welcome birthday wishes but you really don't need to know how "young" I will be silent

No, I'm hoping they are asleep next door. I know their mum will be, she's on a long day tomorrow so I've got football match duties.. why do I always cop for the away games? Greetland through Ripponden last week and Dukinfield tomorrow.

Too bloody old to be dragged out of retirement to be starting a new career let me tell you.

Lovely pre-birthday meal tonight with Mrs H & our Dearest Friends. They paid plus bought me a bottle of 16-year old Lagavulin and a lovely bit of nauticalia for my conservatory.

Went to Stubbin Wharf in Hebden Bridge. Stilton mushrooms to start and venison for mains. Pints of Elland Barge Bitter and Black Sheep. Lovely evening with Flanders and Swann on stereo coming back over Sharneyford.

All together now...

Mud, mud, glorious mud.
Nothing quite like it for cooling the blood.
So follow me, follow
Down to the hollow
And there we will wallow in glorious mud...

Same here DL. One of the best though don't think I've tried the 16-year old. (Well, not THAT sort of 16-year old!)
