Talk Talk: Worst service ever?

At long last I am getting rid of TALKTALK. Moving back to BT.

I could not deal with TALKTALK anymore and they must be the worse company I have ever had to deal with as far as customer services is concerned.

All I can say is if you are thinking of joining TALKTALK. Please think about it before you do. I am not saying BT are any better but nobody can be worse than TALKTALK.

Just agree with both the above tried it once never again!

Indeed Talk Talk are dire.

I do not know how long I will stay on before my broadband provider cuts off again. Only another week and I will be rid of TALKTALK forever.

You should organise a big 'do'. A 'TalkTalk' funeral bash with Hinch leading the parade with all his Looney pals. You've would be guaranteed TV coverage and national news - providing you worded them first .

Just had BT engineer turn up. After midnight I will be rid of TALKTALK. Nice just have my broadband up and running again.

I willl be sending a complaint to the people who deal with companies like TALKTALK. To me they should made of an example of not to trade like they do. I cannot even stop my bill until the change over to BT. You cannot get a full service for two months and yet still have to pay the same payments. Then they have the cheek to try and retain you as a customer.

Do not know if I can get payments back for the last two months but I will give it a try. Though I do not hold up much hope.

The number of people who have told me they have left TALKTALK because of the rubbish service I suspect they will go the way of a lot of companies who treat the customers with contempt. They will end up closing down.

Miracles do happen. My broadband is still working.

I cannot believe it. They sent me a massive bill today from TALKTALK. So straight on the phone and ended speaking to a very pleasant lady on the phone, who solved it in a matter of minutes. I was also promised a refund.. Very helpful indeed.

Funny that I found an employee was very helpful and not playing at silly games making excuses for the company. Shame she is not running the company.

Don't count your chickens TP. You've not got your refund yet! She may have put the phone down and started laughing at you.

I would not put it past them but we will see. Just be glad to have them out of my life.

I have been with Zen, a Rochdale provider for over 15 years and have never had a problem. I sacked BT a year ago for my land line, they had 200 quid of mine which they didn’t offer me back until I checked, and my land line, same phone number, is also with Zen now. Next week I am going onto fibre optic for my broad band, yes you’ve guessed it with a local Rochdale firm called Zen, free installation worth 85 quid on offer now. Can I claim this as Good News for our beleaguered Town? Local firms are not just for moaning about they need our support. Rochdale Online also has Zen so how’s that for a recommendation?

Now remind me what’s that saying about money and where to put it?

Yes Old Regulator I did make contact about Zen once sending them a couple of emails. Never got back to me so I suppose they did not want my custom.

Though I have heard good reports about them.

maybe your mails were lost with Talk Talk? i had to phone them up 15 years ago, had no E-mail till then.

My bro has used Zen for many years and has never has any trouble with them as far as I know. A very good set-up I believe. Try them. Keep it local if you can.

Blooming heck at last. TALKTALK have responded to my complaints. Funny how a letter sent to the main people who run the company respond to threats of going to the media and authorities who may able to take action.

I cannot believe it! Just found out TalkTalk have taken extra payments out of my bank account. Phoned up to find out why and they say they do this because the system has to do this to give me a refund back in a couple of weeks. Then we are finished.

Talk about not wanting to leave go. Found a website that is full of gripes about TalkTalk so added mine and they are more or less the same complaints about the customer services. So if they do not sort themselves out in the long term they will not be a company and go out of business.

There is not one good word about them what I have come across so far.

Anyway back with BT and so far so good they have been quite good.

I would like to have seen that Hinch. Must have been quite funny.

When I have been stopped in Rochdale by the sales people trying to sell me TALKTALK. I like giving them a lecture on the terrible customer services from TALKTALK. Soon walk away.
