Another scandal in politics
What is the problem with our politicians in this country?
We hear about gagging orders being given to health workers who speak up and try and cover up scandals where they surface in political parties with yet more gagging orders. Try and cover up law breaking where they can in some cases, where some politicians think they are above the law. Try and get someone else to take the blame where possible.
Now the latest is in the Lib Dems party it is alleged that the party chief whip molested 10 women. At least one women trying to be forced to sign a gagging order or being forced from the party for making the complaint.
Then some of the leaders trying to claim they knew nothing about it.
Surely with all the scandals that are happening and the state of politics at the moment in the UK, at some stage there will be a backlash from members of the public.
The politicians are there to represent us at all levels but sadly they are letting us down very badly.
I think the political leaders in all parties need to take a long look at themselves and start thinking what they are there for. If some of their members cannot behave, then they need to start removing them. Perhaps the members at grass root level need to look at who is representing them and start removing the ones who cannot keep the hands to themselves in one way or other.
It is getting more ridiculous with each passing month in politics. How much more to come and from which political party next?

Re: Another scandal in politics
So there again another leader in a political party who did know the details after learning of them but was prepared to stand by while the women had their lives ruined by yet another alleged pervert.
Putting the interest of the party first and standing by to ruin the lives of the victims.
Yet the Lib Dems say they are a party of equality and fairness, represent the well being of the nation and of the people.

Nah past actions by the Lib Dems (although according to some party activists its anyones fault but theirs) have quickly dispelled that statement.

If the leader of the Lib Dems and the Deputy Primeminister of the the Coalition had anything about him and the failure of the party to protect the women after recent statements and the alleged email. He should resign and accept the Lib Dems have made a very bad judgement and are not fit to hold a position of such importance in the country.
Also if Labour have any sense to distance themselves from the Lib Dems of holding any future coalition talks of any kind with them, until they drop the people who failed to protect the women over the alleged assaults.
I also fail to understand why the conservatives would align themselves with such a party who are prepared to protect alleged perverts and see the victims lives ruined.
