Tip of the day... when your Yankee candle jar burns down to the last couple of cms, don't throw it out. Gently prise it from the jar and break it up into smaller pieces. These bits can either be used in oil burners (like the tarts) or used to scent your bed and bathroom linen. I find that using them in oil burners gives a stronger scent, and uses every last bit.

I'll try this. I find that the 'scented' oil in my burner smells of sod all.

I freshen up my pot pourri by putting a few drops of essential oil or perfume on it.
Those little glasses that candles come in can go through the dishwasher when the candle has burned out then it can be used as a normal glass

Another use for the dishwasher, side of (or full) salmon tightly wrapped in foil on top shelf of dishwasher will be perfectly cooked when the cycle finishes.
If you're doing a lot of baked potatoes for a bbq or party these can also go on the top shelf of dishwasher, then a quick flash in a very hot oven to crisp them up..two jobs done in one as theres no need to wash them first!

DONT FORGET AND PUT DISHWASHER TABLET IN THOUGH! Laughing

Save money on expensive binoculars by simply walking closer to the object you want to see.
