Dog's Stolen !

Just heard on the news 5 "Westie "dog's have been stolen from a kennel at Smallbridge how sad is that?

Dont think anyone would try dognapping mine do you Jeanie?
I hope they find the culprits and bring the dogs back home.

Isn't this awul Jeanie! These were a mix of breeds according to a statement posted by GMP on the FB network.

I was away in Shrewsbury last weekend at my son's wedding, this kennels is actually quite close to me and I actually contemplated using them but decided on another kennels a little further away, but then my lovely sister offered to stay over and so I cancelled.

I should imagine they weren't difficult to access, from what I have seen these kennels are of a wooden construction and, there is a little lane that runs alongside where it would have been easy to oversee the operation by installing a 'lookout'.

My dog is a lovely friendly little staffie and is a breed favoured by many young men wanting to appear 'macho' and I am sure he would have been one of the victims had I plumbed to place him there, it upsets me just to think of it.

What is Rochdale coming to? is this a new option of obtaining money for drugs or could it have been a professional job aimed purely at puppy farmng?

Whichever, I just hope that these poor dogs are re-uinited with their distraught owners....and fast!

Hope they find them and feed the offenders to a pack of wolves!
