3 websites on Rochdale

On Facebook there are three websites set up for people to load up pictures of Rochdale. The trouble is which one do I use without upsetting any others? Splinter groups setting up already.    

Ah Im a member of two of them.  One is home to the infamous 'Lets go back to Rochdale ' song.  I do post sometimes on both sites.  Sometimes to correct the odd post by way of what is being said. One picture was of River Spod but was classed as an old quarry. But mainly to say what I know of the area.
Just the other day there was some cracking photos of Falinge Fold.


To be honest why are you worried about upsetting people?  Its a free world post where ever you like on whcih ever page you like.. But please please please post something different than the Town Hall!!

Chill if you care to look at the pictures I have posted all kinds of pictures. Also loaded up other items. There is someone who likes the town hall by the look of it.

Anyway about posting I did post on one website a picture, only to get an email saying that they would prefer it if I stayed and posted my pictures on their website I first used. Also other pictures are being copied from ebay and loaded onto the website. I do not know if this is allowed or permission has to be given by the seller of the picture. Though copywrite might come into it if the seller own the picture. Then onto the buyer. That is for the anyone in the know to find out. I only found out a few pictures were on ebay because I was chasing to buy them myself. Also to research them. What gets me they load a lot of the picture without saying what they are in some cases. But eh oh! I will just carry on posting.

I must get out more. 

I am an admin on one of the pages on FB. I don't think any admin would be upset we have a few cross over visitors, at the end of the day its just which one most feel more comfortable in

Never mind I will post on all three. 

One of our co-owners has asked that is pictures are used can people state where they got them from. We have a good mix of new and old, the ex pats seem to enjoy checking out the changes.

It is like I sadi though everyone lands where they feel comfiest

All together now, "I'm going back to Rochdale..."  

With out starting a new subject. I noticed there is a bit of a spat between a couple of websites. Rochdale Past Present and Future and Remembering Cutgate. I do not know if anyone has seen it. There are a lot of accusations from both sides but does not put Rochdale in a good light again.
