Whistle while you work?

Seems one of the milkman's favourite 'songs' is from '58.  

I generally sing most of the time I'm working especially if moving around the site from job to job. Many have commented on the fact. It is however low key and the most annoying part is that it's usually the same song picked for that particular day. Subconscious so I'm told. Usually songs from the 40's. Very strange - however - - -It can depend upon the close proximity. If the chap above described is working in a small area amongst others and has a shrill whistle i can imagine it can become irksome. If however he is on a 'round' and moving about all the time then somebody somewhere wants their head slapping.

Is this story a wind-up??  

Our regular postman whistles his way down our street rain sun or snow I just love to hear him (not very keen on the bills he delivers though)  

Someone once reported him for whistling miserable so & so's but I told him he can't come down my path unless I hear his cheery whistle  

You can ask them to sing. "We are going back to Rochdale____"   

That's a daft suggestion teamplayer2 - then they would 'all' get the sack wouldn't they!
