Mark Pierson - Paranoid Schizophrenic

The case of Mark Pierson who was recently found guilty of trying to murder Gillian Kay from Royton highlights huge failings from various local authorities .      

Yes, he committed this awful crime whilst living with his parents in Royton BUT, he was allocated a rental property on my Rochdale street that we, the taxpayer helped fund, albeit he never seemed to take up full residence but, because RMBC were tied into a contract, his rent continued to be paid for several months after this awful attack....by us!

What was the thinking behind the powers that be that thought it was A-OK to secure a rental property for him merely yards away from our local Primary School, when they knew he had serious mental health problems and a history of violence?  

Incidentally, his next door neighbour is a grandmother who has  3 infant grandchildren who stay with her on a weekly basis.....by the grace of God, they remain safe but, the question DOES remain....what COULD have happened and why place someone as dangerous as this man obviously was, on the doorstep of one of our local Primary School/Nursery schools?   These children and we (his neighbours) remain safe.......unlike Gillian Kay!
