Parking on double yellow lines is causing 'traffic chaos' in Littleborough
About time something was done. This has been happening for years and the Police and RMBC seem to have a 'blind spot' to seeing it!
They also need to look at parking late on Saturday night and Sunday morning, it is not unusual to see taxis parked four deep on the bus stop - not much hope of getting anything done about this until somebody gets killed I suppose.

Apparently Rochdale has a 'Head of Parking Services'
How is that a full time job?

All 'services' are usually charged for johnb. Therefore it stands to reason that someone has to send out a bill or take the money should that service be payable upon completion of the same. One must assume that with so many 'services' that someone must be in charge of the many operatives employed upon 'servicing' the 'servicing charges'. Therefore they must have a Head of Department in order that the services run smoothly. Ergo - a Head of Parking Services would be essential for any self-respecting body that supplied 'services'. I don't see how you can fail to grasp the essentials here??
