Why do socialists always believe that to impose is an acceptable human condition and acceptable to everyone else? Don't they 'ever' learn???

Not really. All part of the bigger picture. As the UK moves towards it's destiny as a 'dwarf amongst nations' in a rapidy changing, unpleasant and dangerous world, the population is retreating into a comfortable complacency, replacing reality, which is far too complicated, with fiction and nostalgia. Mr. Corbyn seems to have caught this popular mood. I've been joining in by listening to old Hancock's Half Hour programmes.

I cannot believe the population is that stupid to fall for emotional claptrap in favour of logical realities - but - I could live to be proven wrong. In which case I will cease any further interaction on a social basis and withdraw into the safety and security of old age in the hope that the socialist policies of the day prove less destructive and that there will remain sufficient funds in the exchequer to pay my pension until I no longer require it. After that - they can all hug as many trees as they can find. Or in other words - f*** the lot of them.
