On the subject of specks of dust falling through the sunlight. Might I suggest you tell your cleaner to do a more through job with the vac.
And yes the black hole is indeed at the centre of our' galaxy' not solar system - thank God.
As an ardent admirer of all that is 'Dad's Army' may I congratulate you on your taste.
And finally - Space vibrations/clicks are extraordinary in that in space no one can hear you scream therefore it is a bending of space (ripples) through the mass of black matter and black energy which has been located and confirms much of what Einstein predicted in his theory of relativity. Amazing brain and on a par with Hawkins etc. But what was the original question -?

The point about falling dust was about how precisely everything is balanced in the world we live in, despite the cauldrons of space we orbit through. Everything is also somewhat illusory, the apparent balance of the world may be disrupted by any number of probable catastrophic events at any time.  

But of course. The universe and its contents are not designed for our benefit. We just happen to be the results of bio-diversity and in essence are only here by accident of design. it's now a race against time for us to gain sufficient intelligence and the wherewithal to deflect any 'outside' influences from destroying our race (whilst at the same time doing the same against any internal influences) and putting an abrupt end to one of the universes amazing phenomenons - US.
Don't you just love to be part of chaos -??

No, chaos is for the youngsters, I like to know where my slippers are.

Unfortunately you are not in 'control' therefore your slippers will be where they want to be as dictated by natures forces. They may seem to remain where to want them to be but as the chaos theory shows - one day they will not be.

All of our footwear is under constant threat from theoretical physics, chaos theory etc., but, we just learn to live with it.

Given that there is no other logical or rational alternative we don't have an opposite reaction other than to 'go along with it'. With me it's all about tangibles. I can see it and I can listen to the most academic opinions and therefore who am I to propose intangibles without good evidence to back them up.
And so we move on as with the finger having written.

To bee or not two bee. That is the question. From the photographic evidence it was not two bee. But one bee. Obviously a set-up. The hole had been previously drilled and not used. The bee had been using it for a while. Somebody - who shall remain nameless but has the initials C filled the opening with a galvanised slate nail. The bee took a fence or probably offence and skilfully removed the encumbrance to enable adequate ingress. Interesting but not mind-blowing. Shall we move on.
