What gets you annoyed ?

I can't stand all these so called "No Win -No Fee" company's and how damn greedy it has made people.

I just hope many of these so called injury's are scrutinised

Too many things to itemise. I must be getting old.

Those phone calls are bad. The human voice speaking down your ear is a very personal means of communication, and when it's someone slimy, insincere and looking for a weak point, can put you right off people altogether. When you get them day after day, it's wearing. I always put the phone down, what happens if you talk to them, what do they want, actually?

Well what can I say to that I can relate to most but number 9 erm I would ask "No Win ,No fee they already take on ridiculous claims

The cost of car insurance when you hear stories like 5 members of one family insisting they have whiplash because a car backed into them as they were sat in the car park.
The reversing car might have been going as fast as 10 mph maximum, the 3 kids when asked by hospital staff where the pain was were spoken to in another language by the parent obviously telling them what to say.
When taken into another room the kids were obligingly demonstrating full movement everywhere quite happily, yet the claim netted a cool £15,000!
Meanwhile back to the renewal letter for insurance ...

Exactly Charly it is a total farce and the motorist who suffers

PPI calls and texts, for some reason I'm infiltrated with them at the moment, I had a call the other day from a very cheerful chirpy chappy, from said PPI firm, he started off with 'Hi Miss Smith, We're just checking that you got your refund?' rather than hanging up or denying all knowledge, I said "Yes I did, thank you very very much!' he stuttered a bit a said 'erm, you did? er ok, would you like to put another claim in as you're probably entitled to more.. ' at that point I said no thanks I was happy with my big payout and hung up. At least I got to have a little fun back i'm now off to spend my imaginary millions

Every day we get a phone call about 5pm. International, withheld number, a foreign voice in broken English, asking for someone who used to live here about seven years ago, now dead. Many times I told whoever it is that the person they are ringing for is dead, and will they please remove the number from their list. Of course, they take no notice and the phone calls continue every day. I don't know what number is ringing, so how could it be blocked?

We had one this morning at 0815. I'm afraid he was treated to some rather unadministrative language.

White van drivers who think they own the road.
Parents who give children sweets in the supermarket before they have paid for them.
People who eat pies etc. in the bamk queue
Misuse of apostrophe's
Misuse of "speech marks".
Inconsiderate neighbours who park to suit themselves and nobody else.
Dyslexic drivers who drive round supermarket carparks the wrong way.
Cyclists with headphones.
Drivers who run the traffic lights when you are trying to turn right.
People who know very little claiming to be experts

Not a lot really, I'm really very sweet natured and easy going.

Cruelty.
Child/adult/animal abuse and neglect.
Poverty.
Hunting for sport.
Destruction of the natural environment i.e devastation of the rain forests etc.
Violent torture-themed films.
Television sleaze - everything from music videos, chat line adverts to lost-the-plot soaps.
Taxi drivers who drive like crazed muppets.
Junk mail.
The cat which winds my dog up by leaving a little present on our lawn each morning.
Fast food takeaways - excluding chippies.
Political correctness gone mad.

That's just for starters!

All those things are annoying, and something should be done about it.

All of them except I love my Asian takeaway food:) though I do hate the messy buggers who leave their mess around.

Well if someone was to call me a "typical woman" I might not be too happy about it but I doubt I would accuse them of being sexist and expect legal action to be taken against them. I am not offended when someone calls me "love" or "dear" etc. either. I would be if the terms were used in a derogatory way but I have the common sense to know when they are not.

I demand my equal rights but have absolutely no problem with a man holding the door open for me. The problem I have is when people take exception to something which is said or done without malice and create offence where none was intended.

Ah I see, and understand, all makes sense. Nothing sexist about being a gentleman or decent bloke by holding a door open etc. I hold the door open for most people.

Drink and drug drivers.

The idiots who pull out at the end of Wildhouse lane at the Gallows in Milnrow and look right to turn down Kilne Lane and never bother looking left to see if any cars are coming in their direction when they are pulling out.

But we have always done that teamplayer2. Why break the habits of a lifetime? It stems from the days when there were no houses up that way - just the golf club.

And what gets up my nose. Have you seen the size of my nose then? The interior is used for abseiling.

Bus drivers who pull out on you but expect you to give way.
Chewing gum chewers
Litter drops
People who don't clean up the pavement after their dogs
oversized females displaying muffin top midriff and yards of thong

Appointments to hospitals and the Doctor says "why have you come today because we don't do procedures on Thursdays" we will send for you next week !

I showed her the letter which stated " be prepared for at least a 2 hour stay due to procedure to treatment" she says "But we don't do procedure to treatment on Thursday's"

Needless to say a complete waste of time for my 86 year old Mum ,Me & the very busy Ambulance service

What a complete farce our NHS has turned out to be but who is challenging these Making it Better /Healthy Futures now ?

Health Overview & Scrutiny for RMBC just does not challenge anything any-more it's a disgrace

What annoyed me yesterday is.. while my son was otherwise engaged painting the kitchen ceiling one of my dogs decided that the living room carpet which has been out of bounds to them up to now, was a nice place to have a long leisurely wee!

I get annoyed at so called animal lovers who buy pets as presents for the family and then discard them after Christmas when they get bored with the pets.
