Seeing a red moving Forum Banner at the beginning of October telling me how many days it is before Christmas, also because the hype and crass commercialism starts earlier each year Not a killjoy, but see the stress of expectations lead to higher problems running up to and at Christmas year on year.

Re: What gets you annoyed ?
Mr. Chris Davies, M.E.P. has spoken up against the jailing, and for the right to freedom of speech, of a man who wrote "killacopforfun" and worse on his clothes, and wore it in public, to celebrate his joy in the recent murder of two policewomen.
Mr. Chris Davies M.E.P. thinks it very important to protect the "right" of this man to do that.
If someone wore clothes saying it would be jolly good fun to play football with the severed heads of Members of European Parliament, would Mr.Chris Davies M.E.P. be as loud and enthusiastic to support that "right"? I don't think so.

Re: What gets you annoyed ?
Apart from the 'bad' art work and the man's lack of taste (which he should have also been arrested for) the wording was offensive and could have goaded others to 'cause an affray' which is of course illegal and dangerous for other members of the public. He was rightly removed from the street and the offensive worded shirt removed for evidence. To promote murder, which the wording on the shirt did, is against the law. It goes beyond free speech or the freedom to voice such stupidity. Was the sentence harsh? Perhaps a little. One month should have been adequate plus six months community work to help pay back the money he has cost all of us for being a prat - and a grown up prat at that. It is something I would have expected from a teenager not a grown man.

Quite, and it appears that Mr. Chris Davies, M.E.P. is a much more expensive pratt.

Re: What gets you annoyed ?
It annoys me when you ring a company about a specific thing and they do their best to sell you another product.
I rang for a buildings/contents quote , went through all the relevant questions ect ..then got asked 'do you mind telling us when your car/travel insurance is due? "erm yes I do mind" the girl on the other end of the phone seemed rather taken aback .
The last thing I want is to be bombarded with mail/phone calls and e mails when they are due
