Could be an Admin issue. I'll check out the settings. I really am just finding my way round this. I really want to put all the topics into categories but can't figure out how to do it. Perhaps do a 'For Sale' section and a 'Tributes' and 'Announcements' one. Feed your ideas in.

I'll try to put some time into it over the weekend.

Spoke to Malcolm Journeaux last night and he was very encouraging.

Previously, a lot of new forums have been started by disgruntled banned members and have not lasted five minutes. They have usually spent their time sitting out on a ledge in the dark somewhere bitching. As I told Malcolm, the only disgruntlement we have is that RO 'turfed us out into the street' with no home to go to.

Still, turned out nice again eh?

I'm sorry to see RO forum go, but I'm happy that I found lots of new friends on there over the years.
Also had some good times at various 'do's' with other members.

I am just hoping my sister wont be able to find us now. It has taken me years to persuade RO the closethe other board so that I can escape her.

Hello peeps it's Winnie here back with my pre ban nick from 2008 Winnie was taken :s

Just realised I was wrong I have been Winnie since 2006, I feel a bit silly being back to a variation of my old nick but I came a cropper when Winnie was taken lol

There isnt a 'winnie' registered though!
I come up against the same problem when I registered..I was first to sign up after admin and it said 'charly' was taken so I registered as charly2 but it let me delete the 2 on my profile...back to charly...work that one out!

Just tried modifying my profile to Winnie its not having non of it

I use Britlady for a few registrations but that was taken also. Rochdale Lass is another one that is hard to use. Stuck with my old one from ROL.

I just deleted the 2 off it, I assumed it would let you delete the name and re-enter winnie in its place.
I dont understand how these user names were 'taken' when its a completely new site?
