A lovely Easter Sunday. Went with grandkids and a mate shooting. Bagged several birds, rabbits, rats and squirrels. Luckily they were only metal targets so perhaps Sparky will not be too hard on me?

In the afternoon, 12 of us sat down to a gorgeous lunch where we polished off 'This and That', the pig from my pal's smallholding in Shropshire. It was a Gloucestershire Old Spot and was rather yummy.

Plenty of good beer, wine and whisky followed and a rather excellent Cohiba Cuban cigar.

A day of pure decadence. A quiet day today I think with a couple of bottles of Budvar and a margarita or two.
