There's news reports of a thorough police investigation and a future called-for Review, so 'the Inquiry' could be that of the IPCC
A GMP Assistant Chief Constable has confirmed, "The woman had been a complainant in a case that recently concluded at court, and throughout that process specially trained officers from Greater Manchester Police had been providing her with regular support and advice. It won’t comment further as apparently the matter had been immediately referred to the IPCC (Independent Police Complaints Commission) following her death.
It seems to beg another public question and answer: - will her tragic death now add urgency to an investigation previously referred to the IPCC in July 2012, 18 months ago, when, according to a spokesman, it was then asked to look into the conduct of detectives who were investigating claims made by Tracy Shelvey and other women?

Here, hear. Despite early misgivings, Simon Danczuk has turned out to be a good MP. About time we had one.

Quote: Simon Danczuk: "The right hon. Lady will be familiar with the two Rochdale grooming cases. The country of origin of some of the perpetrators of those horrific crimes is not the UK. Will the Bill make things easier? Will she assure me and the people of Rochdale that, under the Bill, those who committed those crimes can be sent back to their country of origin?"
