Christmas presents

Well, unlike some of you, I'll be doing the usual and spending FAR too much on Xmas presies but I caqn't do freecycling at Xmas.
I always manage to slip a presie to myself in Santa's sack. This year I bought the De-luxe, 2 x CD, 2 x DVD 'Celebration Day'; the new Led Zepopelinn album of their O2 Arena concert. Fabulous to see Plant, Page, Jones and young Jason Bonham strutting their stuff.
I had my neighbours knocking on t5he wall when I turned my surround-sound up to Number 11 but I couldn't here 'em.
Fantastic album. Really got me in the mood. Sod the fact that my dishwasher's given up the ghost and that I got a parking ticket in Nelson Street today. I am in party mood.
Feasting tomorrow with a few 'sweet young things' from the forum. It's all building up to be a great Christmas.

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas
Only a hippopotamus will do
Don't want a doll, no dinky Tinker Toy
I want a hippopotamus to play with and enjoy

I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you?
He won't have to use our dirty chimney flue
Just bring him through the front door, that's the easy thing to do
I can see me now on Christmas morning, creeping down the stairs
Oh what joy and what surprise when I open up my eyes
To see a hippo hero standing there
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas
Only a hippopotamus will do
No crocodiles, no rhinoceroses
I only like hippopotamuses
And hippopotamuses like me too
Mom says the hippo would eat me up, but then
Teacher says a hippo is a vegeterian
There's lots of room for him in our two-car garage
I'd feed him there and wash him there and give him his massage
I can see me now on Christmas morning, creeping down the stairs

I got a parking ticket in Littleborough a couple of weeks ago so annoying as I had always parked on Peel Street but they have changed it to 1 hour !
Silly me didn't think to look

Ooo I am awful. Just treated myself to the complete boxed set of 'Ever Decreasing Circles' from Play.Com at £13.99 plus Mystic River at £3.49; both including postage.
Am hoping someone buys me 'The Railway Man'.
