Co-op Bank in trouble.
It looks like the Co-op Bank have lost their soul. £1.5 billion pounds in debt. Looking at losing the mutual status and the Directors more interested in selling loans than caring about the savers. Just what has happened to the Co-op? Going like a lot of other banks.

Well they got too greedy and it was their aqquistion of the banks that tipped up over the edge and lead to Moodys giving them Junk status. I see also theres been a wholesale sacking -oops- restructure and of course corresponding PR filled and metaphor laced press releases.

Re: Co-op Bank in trouble.
Bankers more interested in cash than customer care? Surely not?
This is an attack on the very fabric of society.
I think TP2 owes our bankers; many of whom have received the highest honours yet who exist on very meagre salaries an apology.
I am proud to be allowed to help them keep the wolf from the door by paying their very reasonable bank charges. After all, paying £30 for a letter telling me my account is overdrawn by a fiver is great value for money.
Do you really think that a banker employed by a mutual is made of different fabric to any of the other sleazeballs?
Best to keep your savings in an old sock under the bed TP. Either that or get me to look after it for you for a very nominal fee plus commission charges etc.

Get up to speed Chill. We do not have sackings or restructurings any more. People simply 'step aside'.

OK Hinch. What is the best interest rate you can give? Do you offer a free bottle of Grouse for your services?
