Has anyone else come across the above website? I came across it yesterday whilst looking at the Hornets update on twitter.

No, I'll have a shuftie. Hopefully it will not be one of those 'everything in the garden is wonderful' sites that discourage all but the most banal discussions and sound as if they're sponsored by the council.

Just seen it. Seems to be trying to cover some of the same ground as another organisation. I would not remotely be surprised if TCM have had some input.

Let me make a wild, crazy prediction here. I predict that the 'news' will consist of unedited, regurgitated press releases, there will be no hard news, no criticism whatsoever of TCM no matter how piss-poor their delivery of value for money goes and that there will be no rocking of anyone's boat.
You will certainly see no criticism of Debbie O'Brien's astoundingly ham-fisted AV presentations to council unless they are written in the most glowing and adulatory tones. Any 'news' about the Rochdale shopping experience will make it sound as if London's Oxford Street pales by comparison.
It will have about as much substance as a stick of candyfloss but without any health risks involved.
It will be a very safe read, propped up by advertising revenue from the Wheatsheaf and others of that ilk.

I wonder if TCM will be going across to the Town Hall trying to panhandle more ratepayers money out of them? Is this an 'arms-length' relationship or is there more to it?
