My wife and I went to Heskin Hall today to do the Christmas shopping for presents for family and friends.

Manage to complete most of the shopping and a lot better than walking round all the cloned town and city centres that we see today.

If you want any unusual presents and something different I thought it was a good place to go. Some lovely antiques in Heskin Hall itself and a brilliant Art Gallery Shop if you want to buy a real class painting for someone at Christmas. Just a shame Rochdale could not do something like we have seen today.

Heskin Hall is near Chorley not far from exit 27 of the M6. About one hours drive from Rochdale.
