Well there's another example of the difference from RO, when the admin or mods saw fit to edit or delete a post they didnt have to explain to posters the reasons why.

Me too, Spartacus, but some find it "obsessive". What I find obsessive is those posters who post things that are are always negative regarding a particular section of the community. But instead of complaining about such posts I will take them on, but that is me being confrontational apparently.

I too sometimes don't take part in threads, others I will ignore completely, especially if it does not appeal to me.

Indeed. RO admins and mods did a good job, but it was a different situation than here.

This admin does a very good job, obviously though I have done no wrong apart from swearing in a post which meant my post was pulled, which is fair enough, and kindly explained to me by them when I asked the question.

I will try to be reasonable and compromise, but it is very difficult to know exactly what I have said and done wrong IF I don't know what has been said about me. Much of it is subjective, but I will always except the house rules, but in order to be a good boy, I need to know what I have done wrong. Smile

You surely realise though some on here are very thin skinned, and are good at giving out rubbish but not good at taking it. Like I said, I will try to place nice, but it is not easy being nice with people who clearly have certain agendas in some of their posts even though they plead innocence. I will say and do things based on my political beliefs, like some post based on their religious or moral beliefs. Some post on their right wing views.

On such matters like the royal pregnancy, in future I will open another thread, thus leaving those who want to celebrate the event alone to do so.

So you really think that people have agendas when responding to you, UTD? Here is a thought. Perhaps they don't, and as the admin says, they just come on here for a bit of chit chat and don't expect to have someone RSPONDING TO THEM LIKE THEY ARE THE ENEMY. Perhaps it might be that you appear to take things a bit too seriously and get a bit too personal a bit too quickly? Just a thought, of course, and it may only be my OPINION...

More than enough information has been given to about the nature of the issues raised by several other posters. I do not propose to keep this particular wound festering any longer.

If you search hard enough for a conspiracy theory, I'm sure you'll come up with something. Most people do.

Where can I claim back the last 30 minutes I have just wasted reading the last 4 pages of this ‘sticky’?
I am of the group that doesn’t read topics I have no interest in but do read all the others and like Sparky comment when I feel like doing so.

Shame about UTD though he usually makes me smile and sometimes think on.

Is that the Rossendale Brewery 'Sunshine'? One of my favourite pints and brewed up at my local, The Griffin.

Have just brewed 40 pints of Coopers New Zealand Stout and 38 pints of Woodford's 'Nelson's Revenge' for Crimbo.
