The Budget

Budget will be announced soon. Will it be a step too far in squeezing the poorest people?

Tut my ciggies are up another 26 pence ! I really will have to get used to this electronic one only problem is it makes me cough more than a real one !!!
And at least no rise in fuel so I can still afford to run my car.

All in all not a bad budget ?

A surprisingly 'steady as she goes' budget. Economic outlook is 'worse than we thought' as usual, but maybe not so bad as a lot of Europe.

It was the worst set of figures in 60 years. We had more at the end of the war - and that's saying something.
It's not that these cretins are not being 'careful' it's that they are not doing the job they are being paid to do which is take the problem by the scruff of its appendages and 'move their bloody arses'. Talk about whimps and weakness. We will never get out of this mess if someone somewhere doesn't take a few risks. This budget will do absolutely nothing. I was always taught to do nothing is akin to stepping backwards, both negative and retrograde. 2015 we should be coming out of the 'mess'. At this rate it will be 2025. Useless - the lot of them.
